However, candidates who hold a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC’s minimum standard and procedure for award of Ph.D. degree regulations, 2009, are exempted from the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET. Additionally, candidates must be under 38 years of age as of 01.01.2022, with relaxation provided as per Government norms for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD candidates.
