Directorate of Forensic Science, Assam has published job a advertisement for the Notification of 7 Grade III and Grade IV Vacancy in the cadre of Junior Assistant (LDA), Grade-IV (Attendant/Laboratory Bearer) and Cook. Interested & eligible candidates may apply here.
Forensic Science Recruitment 2021 Vacancy Details:
1. Junior Assistant (LDA)
No of posts: 2 [UR-1, EWS-1]
Scale of Pay: Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 60,500/- with plus Grade Pay Rs. 6,200 p.m.
Educational Qualification: Applicant must be Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University. The candidate must possess minimum 6 months Diploma Certificate in computer proficiency from a recognized institute. They must have good working knowledge of office productivity software tools such as Word processor, Spreadsheet, Presentation graphics Concept of data base, Internet, E-mail etc.
2. Grade – IV (Attendant/ Laboratory Bearer)
No of posts: 4 [UR-1, OBC-1, STP-1, EWS-1]
Scale of Pay: Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 52,000/- plus Grade Pay Rs.3,900/- p.m.
Educational Qualification: Read up to Class – VIII
3. Cook
No of posts: 1 [UR-1]
Scale of Pay: Rs. 12,000/- to Rs. 52,000/- with plus Grade Pay Rs.3,900/- p.m
Educational Qualification: Read up to Class – VIll. Experience certificate from reputed Hotel/Restaurant .
Forensic Science Recruitment Eligible Criteria
Employment Exchange Registration Certificate: The candidate must have registered their names in any employment exchange of Assam.
Age Limit: the Candidates minimum age 18 years and maximum age 40 years.
Age Relaxation:
OBC/MOBC: 3 years
SC/ST: 5 years

Documents to be attached with Forensic Science Application Form
Applicants should submit self-attested copies of the following documents along with the application.
i) Recent passport-sized photograph.
ii) Educational Qualification certificates.
iii) Caste certificate (in case of reserved category candidates)
iv) Birth certificate, wherever applicable (for age proof)
v) Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category certificate from authentic authority, if applicable.
vi) The candidate already employed should note that the prerogative of according permission to appear in the selection test shall rest upon the appropriate authority, The Director shall not be in any way responsible/accountable in the event of not according permission to appear in the selection test.
vii) One self-Addressed envelope (27cmx13cm approx.) with postage stamp of Rs. 5.00 (Rupees five) only.
