Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria of Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 21 years. Candidate born between 01 Oct 2002 to 01 April 2006 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
The selection of candidates will be carried out for following categories as per qualitative requirement:-
Agniveer General Duty (Women Military Police): Class 10th/Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and
33% in each subject. For boards following grading system, min of ‘D’ grade (33% – 40%) in individual subjects or grades with 33% in indl subjects and overall aggregate of ‘C2’ grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.
Note: Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements.
Indian Gorkhas – Class 10th simple pass
Note: Candidates who have appeared in class 10th and class 12th Board Exam and are awaiting declaration of results are also eligible to apply provided they fulfill all other Qualitative Requirements. Such candidates, however, shall only be selected when they produce the original marksheet during the Phase II of recruitment process (Internet copy of marksheet will not be acceptable) as also such candidates should secure the minimum laid down marks in aggregate as well as in individual subjects for respective category for being eligible to participate in Phase II – Recruitment rally.
